What we correct
We correct factual errors, materially misleading omissions, incorrect links or captions, misidentification, and other mistakes that change a reader's understanding. Minor spelling or formatting repairs may be made without a formal note.
How corrections appear
A material correction is noted on the article with the date and a plain-language description of what changed. When new reporting adds information without correcting an error, we label it as an update.
How to request a review
Use the verified editor address that will be published on the contact page. Include the article URL, the statement in question, the reason it is inaccurate, and any supporting public record or source. Do not send sensitive personal information.
What happens next
The editor reviews the published language and supporting record. A request does not guarantee a change, but serious factual challenges receive a good-faith review. Opinion is not corrected merely because a reader disagrees; factual claims inside opinion remain subject to correction.
