Do not wait until the last minute. Return your ballot early enough to resolve a signature issue or another question before certification.

A ballot drop box is the most direct option close to Election Day. Pierce County publishes an official list of locations and hours. If you mail your ballot, check the collection time posted at the mailbox or post office so it can receive a timely postmark.

Track your ballot through VoteWA.gov. The state portal shows when your ballot was sent, received, and accepted. If the status shows a signature challenge, follow the election office’s instructions promptly.
